KT (CEO Hyeon-mo, Ku) announced that it held an interim performance presentation of the “KT Technology Plus” at KT’s Gwanghwamun Office in Jongno-gu, Seoul on 21st April.
The “KT Technology Plus” is a contest held by KT with the Korea Social Value and Solidarity Foundation to foster social economic enterprises. In order to realize the idea of each company, KT has been conducting ESG activities that deliver not only business subsidies but also KT's technology and know-how.
At this mid-term performance presentation, Hyun-ok Shin, vice president of KT's management support division, Kyong-yong Song, chairman of the Korea Social Value and Solidarity Foundation, and Hyun-myeong Do, CEO of ImpactSquare, gathered intent to create social value.
KT announced that it has selected six social-economic companies, including Ecopeace, OHFA Tech, Inc., AI Goodwill Voice, Paw in Hand, Say Global, and Media Lab to Walk Together through a contest since last October. Six companies that participated in the mid-term performance presentation shared their business progress and discussed ways to expand business opportunities with the KT business department.
KT continues to support technology mentoring and management consulting so that companies selected as digital platforms (Digico) can grow into a technology-innovative enterprise suitable for the digital era.
CEO Chae In-Won of ECOPEACE said, "I have received KT's technical consulting and management consulting, which is a great help to the run company".
